It is the focal point of many activities, art, crafts, workshops or simply to meet one another over a cup of tea. " To the world we are just another small gallery but this small gallery is our world." I prefer to organize bespoke workshops to suit individual needs and can host up to 6 students at a time.

It was a big day yesterday on many levels but the best of news….I have been liberated from my leg brace! Oh the joy! I have to be VERY mindful that I am not out of the woods yet but the road to recovery now seems possible. My spirits have been lifted along with this delightful bunch of locally grown flowers… thank you Liz…I love the dahlias especially.x

Hello...I have not posted for a while...I have been down in the studio and have had a couple of trips out in the car but I am struggling with this leg brace....slowly slowly I know.....anyway this combination of cars seemed a happy omen this morning and I am very pleased to have sold not just one but three of Sharon's aprons. Here is my happy customer....she is not sure she will do the dishes wearing this. The pocket is hand-printed....a special treat indeed.

Every cloud has a silver lining…..being forced to slow down is allowing me time to read and I have just finished for the second time this lovely book about bread making.. except it is far more than that. This young woman with the help of her father was able to find a way to manage her crippling anxiety…..it is heartwarming and inspiring story…. Available from Stornoway library. I have been gifted a copy and am pleased to have it on my bookshelf. the recipes are also mouthwatering… but this is more Peter’s department! I was also given these lovely flowers recently….the bronze foliage comes from the garden…. Physocarpus , Little Joker… a wee gem.

I managed a whole day in the studio.. the first time post op. I am very tired now but find I can sit and do some small scale work. I feel a wee bit frustrated by the change of pace but have plenty of things that are achievable….the trick is not to try and run before I can walk! I am hoping that the new leg brace will be fitted this week, it will make a huge difference I think. Thank you for all the continuing messages of support and the enormous box of chocolates that arrived in the post! I made 15 of these cards… watercolour and embroidered tweed….just a bit of fun.

Small steps towards positivity keep me moving in the right direction….this morning i refreshed all the lovely flowers I have been given….thank you for all the kindness that is flowing our way. I have an appointment with the surgeon again this week and hopefully all being well a new leg brace will be fitted that is slightly less cumbersome. Sending love out into the world..
