Gooooooooood morning everyone!! 💙

Happy Monday and HAPPY HALF TERM!! 🎉🥳

How on earth are we here already?! 😳 That's absolutely FLOWN by!!

I'll be honest, I think we've ALL needed this week's break to take stock of just how much life has changed since the summer! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

And MY GOD… the weather isn't messing around, is it?! 😳🍂🌧️

Autumn has well and truly arrived with a BANG!! One storm to kick things off? Nahhhh… LET'S HAVE THREE!! 🤣💨☔

It's certainly been an experience adjusting to our new normal over here!

💼 Me back working full time AND keeping REJ Designs thriving!

🎒 Mini Me navigating the big, scary world of high school!

💻 The Mr working full time!

🐶 And one very opinionated, geriatric pooch who has made it ABUNDANTLY clear that he does NOT approve of any of these changes!! 🤣🐾

Honestly, it's been a bit of a juggling act… and occasionally it feels like we're juggling flaming chainsaws whilst riding a unicycle! 😂

BUT… we're getting there! 🙌

Our new extended dispatch times have been an absolute GODSEND! They've allowed us to keep everything running smoothly, get your lovely orders made and dispatched without the mad panic, AND still manage to sneak in a little bit of sleep! 😴🤣

We've also been busy working behind the scenes on some VERY exciting custom projects that we're absolutely ITCHING to share with you all!! 👀😍

Unfortunately, you're going to have to wait until the NEW YEAR for those little beauties! 🤫🫣 I know, I know… what a tease!! 😂

Right then! We're off to brave the delightful Welsh weather and run a few errands before heading back to the studio to get cracking on stocking up our Christmas range!! 🎄🎅🎁

Because apparently Christmas is now just around the corner and I am NOT emotionally prepared for how quickly this year has disappeared!! 😳🤣

Gooooood morning and Happy Sunday everyone!! 💙☀️

Traditionally, Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest, yes?!

NOT IN THIS STUDIO!! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

Now that I'm a little more limited to evenings and weekends in the studio, there's absolutely NO rest for the wicked! 😂

And today has started fantastically well… 👀

My PC has apparently decided it's joining a union and is now officially ON STRIKE. 🪧💻

On the rare occasion it DOES decide to do as it's told, it's taking approximately 35,758,292,020 BUSINESS DAYS to process the simplest of tasks!! 😭

I'm genuinely starting to wonder whether I need to book it in for some therapy because the poor thing is getting completely overwhelmed by anything more than TWO clicks!! 🤣

Anyway… after THREE HOURS of work this morning, it decided it had simply had enough of life, had a complete meltdown, gave me a very loud NOPE! and reverted itself back to 7am.

SEVEN. FLIPPING. AM. 😭😭😭

Three hours of work. GONE. P**F. VANISHED INTO THE ABYSS. 💨

So, naturally, I've now also reverted back to 7am, mentally and emotionally, and will be restarting my entire day from scratch.

INSERT EVERY EXPLETIVE KNOWN TO MANKIND HERE. 🤬🤣

If anyone needs me, I'll be in the studio, questioning every life decision I've ever made whilst trying very hard not to launch a computer out of the window. 🙃

BUT FIRST… I'm off to buy myself copious amounts of caffeine and chocolate because quite frankly, I think I've earned it!! ☕🍫🤣

At this point, I'm not sure whether I'm fuelling productivity or emotionally eating my way through a technological crisis, but either way… WE MOVE! 😂

On the plus side… surely the day can only get better from here?! 👀

Gooooood morning everyone!! 💙

I'M BAAAAACK!! 👋🤣

Firstly, apologies for the absolutely RUDE silence over the last few weeks!! 😳

Honestly, where has the time gone?! One minute we're getting ready for the school holidays to end and the next we're in OCTOBER?! 🎃🍂

Life has been well and truly LIFEING over here 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Between Mini Me settling into high school, some big changes behind the scenes, family life, and keeping REJ Designs ticking along, it's been a bit of a whirlwind to say the least!!

But don't worry, I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth! 🤣 I've just been doing that wonderful thing where you have approximately 473 things to do and somehow forget that social media exists! 😂

Despite the radio silence, we've still been busy bees behind the scenes, creating, personalising, packing and sending out lots of your lovely orders! 📦🥰

And speaking of orders… here's a little selection of some of the gorgeous bits and bobs we've been working on recently, including a lovely little business package for our faves over at The Mixing Glass! 🍸😍

I absolutely LOVE getting to work with other small businesses and helping bring their ideas to life. There's something so special about seeing your creations become part of someone else's business! 🥹💙

We're also heading into our BUSIEST time of year 🎄🎅 and judging by the festive orders already coming through, I have a feeling we're in for another wonderfully chaotic Christmas season! 😳🤣

So, consider this my official return to your newsfeeds! I'll try not to disappear for quite so long next time… although I'm making absolutely NO promises! 😂

Happy Monday!! 🥰

Gosh, the weekends don’t half fly by! 😳 We’ve had a lovely weekend celebrating birthdays and catching up with family and then… BOOM 💥 back to reality! 😂

Back to sharing some more of our recent custom makes, and this one was a very personal one for us. ❤️

We recently had to say “Ta-ta for now” to a very special person in our lives.

Some of you may know that the last few years have been nothing short of challenging for us as a family as we’ve navigated severe illness and loss. What started as a professional relationship with an amazing group of people turned into them becoming our absolute rocks, supporting us through some of the roughest and most devastating times of our lives.

So when we found out that one of those people was leaving us, let’s just say… we had a little wobble! 🥹

We are SO excited for her and this next chapter, but words genuinely cannot express the gratitude and love we have for this person or how much her support, kindness and determination have meant to our whole family.

And when it came time to say “See you later!” — because we don’t do goodbyes! — we wanted to make her something she could take with her to remind her of home when she’s off living her best life in the big city. 🥰

Because you can take the woman out of Wales… but you CANNOT take Wales out of the woman! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

A little piece of home, a reminder of just how special she is, and something made with an enormous amount of love. ❤️

For us, the fight isn’t over just yet, and we have every faith in the incredible team continuing it with us. 💪🏼

Libby, we’ll never forget you, and we’ll never forget everything you did for us all. ❤️

Gooooood morning & Happy Fri-yay! 🙌🏼☕️

The first full week of high school is almost complete and let’s just say… this week was A LOT smoother than last week 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ We’re getting there!

I can’t believe we’re already into double figures of September! 😳 This year has honestly been a bit of a blur and, judging by how quickly the weeks are disappearing, it looks like it’s set to continue the same way!

Some of you are already planning for the most wonderful time of the year 🎄✨ and I have to say… you’re getting me excited now too! Cold, crisp mornings, snuggling up under a cosy blanket with a hot brew, twinkly lights and all the festive goodness ☕️🎄
