After introducing the faces behind the business, we thought we’d share a little more about how we work.
We lovingly create bespoke curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, all handmade with care, precision and a genuine love for what we do. Much of our work comes from some of the country’s top interior designers, who trust us with their fabrics, ideas and clients. They send us their visions, and we turn them into beautifully made curtains and blinds. We work closely with each one because no two designers, or projects, are ever the same.
We also take on our own full-service projects, offering everything from measuring and fabric sampling, to making and fitting.
Over the years we’ve been lucky enough to work on some truly incredible properties - from mansions, to a huge residence in the Lake District to recently a stunning new build in Bath, where we created bespoke headboards and soft furnishings alongside the window dressings. We feel genuinely privileged to work with some of the world’s most beautiful fabrics and trimmings, and to be trusted with such special spaces.
It’s also worth saying that some of our best work never makes it onto social media. Many of our projects are for private clients who value discretion, and much of what we create is on behalf of Interior Designers whose work we support behind the scenes. We respect those boundaries completely, so while you may not always see the full extent of what we do, trust us when we say - there is some truly breathtaking work happening quietly in the background.
Our workroom has its own story too. It began as Michelle’s father’s car workshop. When he retired, he handed her the keys and let her transform it into her dream space. What started as a single table in the back room has grown into a full upstairs and downstairs workroom with four large tables, machinery and shelves of stock. A space built on family, graft and pride.
Some say we are expensive, but our customers agree that the quality speaks for itself, and that being said, we work hard to cater to all budgets - beautiful doesn’t have to mean unaffordable.
