A little heart felt message. I have a bunch of stuff going on, which means this page hasn’t had the input it should. It also means it won’t be hitting the algorithms and will have disappeared off of most people’s radar. I will endeavour to increase my input and to get myself back out there. I aim to get some course dates booked in now the surgery is finally complete but can I also ask those of you who see this post to share some of my posts, or comment on some of them? I don’t mind which but just something to start boosting my page, even a smiley emoji will help!. I’ve kinda lost my path a little recently and I’ve let a few things slide that I shouldn’t have! So today I finally had the surgery I’ve been waiting for ( after being sent home in the last date I went in for it) so a few weeks recovery and I will be getting my needle felting head back on. The aim to be setting up a few more make a sheep workshops, possibly a make a hare workshop for those that have at least begun their needle felting journey. ❤️❤️ managed to finish the back panel of a cardi I’m making while I was sat waiting my turn too! 🤣 felt like a right granny with my pjs and slippers in with a paper cap over my hair hahahaha

Well, believe it or not, we are STILL lambing. Fun times 🙄😆 actually didn’t think this lady had caught but as she’s one of the flightier sheep we have, now they’re out on the good stuff, we have next to no chance of checking her without hauling the whole flock in so it’s been a wait and see, we checked this morning and there’s a cracking little pure Cheviot ewe lamb next to her momma, all clean, dry, feeding well and keeping up with mum so all good! Now if only the last 7 would just get on and have their babies I could stop worrying and just crack on making some felties ❤️🥰

We are about at the end of lambing, well, I thought we were but I’ve spotted a couple of ewes today tha look to be bagging up after I had concluded they were empty. 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ and of course they waited until they were all released into the wilds of 30 acres of good green grass. So although I am sure they will be fine, it’s added a layer of stress to field checks in case there’s an issue when I’m not there. But I thought I’d just share one of this year’s favourites, named after my son’s girlfriend who experienced her very first lambing this year and enjoyed every minute ❤️ so this is George. ( I mean we could have called her fangs instead 😂) the next generation of fleecey ladies xx

Proportions! I don’t know if I’m just tired or I’ve looked at her too long, but my husband doesn’t have an artistic bone in his body unless it’s music ( bloody amazing guitar player) are my front legs a little short? For a whimsical leaping hare? Easy to alter at this stage but any deeper int the project and it will be annoying to change 😆🤣
