We also welcome Hannah Doyle as our guest artist in Origin for October. We have original prints as well as cards in her distinctive style, with beautiful inky colourways.

"I am a printmaker and illustrator, living in mid Wales. I live with my wild son and even wilder border collie. My woodcut and lino prints are inspired by my love of nature and wildlife."

Featuring new felted vases made by Karen Vosmer, ( Artisan Scarf Lady) now in Origin

A brand new exploration of felting hand dyed silk and wool with patterned paper to create these vases.

If you put fairy lights inside, the pattern of the paper ( these ones are 'pebble' design), is illuminated by the lights, as well as a beautiful glow of your chosen silk fabric around the room!

Guest artist Louise Lily King of Arianwen and the Owl has recently relocated her studio to Carmarthen, just down the road from Origin.

In her own words:

"I am inspired by Nature and its role in the mythology, folktales and storytelling of Britain and Ireland, having a particular fascination for Welsh myth and folklore. Creating highly detailed drawings, often with subtle hand-embellished details, I aim to capture something of the character and symbolism of the creatures and plants which play such an important role in these stories and traditions. 

Originally from Swansea, I studied for a degree in Contemporary Textile Practice in Cardiff and a Masters degree in Multidisciplinary Printmaking in Bristol; I lived in Bristol for many years before relocating to South Pembrokeshire in 2021.

​I'm happiest by the sea, in the woods, or exploring the hedgerows."

We challenge you not to fall in love with her prints and original works. Your walls are crying out for more beauty! Catch her before 26th September!
