Yesterday was a big birthday for Alix, our Queen Bee, founder and boss of FieldDay!
So today we celebrated! Homemade traybakes, bubbles, a gorgeous pistachio and raspberry cake by Esther. Lots of love and gifts in the form of 50 things we love about her on post it notes, an overnight at Birch Cabins, and gorgeous flowers from Sow Grateful Flower Farm. For lunch Sarah made Harvest Pumpkin Chilli and we continued celebrating!

Our post-it notes were full to the brim with recognition of the way she trusts and champions each of us, inspires us with her creativity, adaptability, and ability to solve any and every problem, her incredibly hard working disposition, and lots of gratefulness for creating a space we all enjoy working in. She also really loves a good laugh with us. 🫶🫶🫶

Wish Alix a very happy birthday in the comments... She's built this business & team and we hope the love and care carries through to everyone's FieldDay experience. ♥

At the end of the week we celebrated our Marie's 84th birthday! Marie was Alix's first ever staff member, 23 years ago, and she hasn't stopped since!
We celebrated back in the office (sadly we think our outdoor coffee days are over for the year 😔) with Marie's favourite cream buns from the local bakery. Nothing better than a proper cream bun!

Also, spot a few new (and returned!) faces? 👀 Our Christmas elves are assembling! Busy season has well and truly arrived for FieldDay! 💃
