Hello,
My name is Phoenix, I am part of Take Flight Community Support Group. Based in Chard for local people in and around Chard we have started to provide a safe environment for local people to meet up and get to know what is available in the area and also get to know other people around.
We are putting on a Big Lunch event on Sunday 30th June at the Baptist Church Hall, Holyrood Street, between 13:30 until 16:00. The reason we are holding this event is to help bring the community together with some of the local groups and organisations and hopefully breaking the social isolation many people suffer when moving to a new place or after having major changes happen to them in their lives.
We would like to invite you to join us and enjoy a chance to share time with other local people and have some fun, or maybe you would like to promote your church/group.
We are trying to set the first Big Lunch up on a shared meal basis. Should this be successful we plan to repeat it each June and maybe try different themes. If anyone wishes to be more involved in the setting up and running of this event we would be pleased to hear from you

Well Christmas has come to Chard in the form of our Christmas lighting and Kate night opening in our local shops.

I’m here at the Guildhall for the annual Christmas craft fair with a selection of talented crafters getting ready for the doors to open.

Looking forward to seeing a few friendly faces.

Hello to all you crafters, as many of you might know our little shop has had to close until I can find new shop premises. Until I am able to get a regular shop I will be attending craft fairs in the local area. The first of which will be Chris’s Popular Fayre on 4th November at the Guildhall Chard 9.00 am to 12.30pm. I will also be selling stock and products online and will be adding the links shortly. Look forward to seeing you soon.

Hello, after a break from this page due to my life being turned upside down in the last couple months I am getting back on track.
As many of you might have noticed the shop in Holyrood Street is empty. I am however looking for a new place in the town to sell arts and crafts items. In the meantime I will be posting items for sell on this page on a regular basis.
