The latest in nocturnal posting from our sleepless financial director:
We have changed our auction day to Saturdays and will be holding an auction every three weeks.
With complimentary tea, coffee and some form of chocolate based snacks we would love to see you bidding in person in our auction room!!!
Of course you can bid online through Bidspirit, Easy Live Auction or Drouot (and very soon directly through our own website!) but nothing beats the atmosphere of a physical paddle raise!
Next auction Saturday 20th June, and there are still some pitches available for the Medway Vintage, Antiques, Retro & Collectibles Fair. Sunday 28th June 2026 so please get in touch to book your space!

Apologies for the late post but this is extremely urgent!
We have been aware of the so-called ‘valuation days’ and ‘vintage cash now’ schemes that have been travelling around the country recently but we didn’t realise how bad it was!
We had a customer visit us today with an offer of £2.50 on two £5 coins and not much more than that on an entire bag full of antique/vintage currency (anyone could see the numbers not adding up on that deal!).
We only make money if your item sells and the more you make the more we make. Please don’t get or let your relatives be scammed by ‘cash now’ or ‘best price paid’ offers. Our win for yesterday was a client that was offered £50 for a sweet tin full of costume Jewellery in the high street, he now has £500 cash in his pocket from a fair market value achieved at auction because of gold items we found and tested for him.
With zero % commission charged on any/all gold and competitive rates of commission please don’t fall for the ‘roadshow of antiques’ scams.
We will happily offer a competitive immediate cash or bank payment but we love to bring items to the open market to obtain the best possible price for your items.
We recently sold a gold pocket watch for over £4500 and have been told of an elderly lady in Bromley that was given just £75 for hers.
Apologies again for the rant but the world is so full of scams and we hate to see it infect our industry.
We are available for free and no obligation estimates during our usual opening hours of 10:30-18:00 Monday, Tuesday & Thursday and 12:00-19:00 on Wednesday but our WhatsApp is always open 01795720599 . We will also be attending the Sevenoaks Antiques Fair this Sunday and will be happy to provide auction estimates and guidance there.
