Thanks once again to everybody that has supported our justgiving appeal so far. We have now raised over £7000 which is simply amazing and all thanks to your generous donations.

We have received another shipment of 35 Medical kits that were bought using the fund. This includes 10 fully loaded larger emergency kits that include even more vital equipment.
We have also received our first shipment of 1000 foil blankets which are packaged ready to ship.

Please keep donating and sharing as we really want to hit our target and get as much vital aid out to Ukraine as possible.
Please remember with us there is no red tape, bureaucracy or wage bills involved and 100% of the funds are used to buy supplies.

A huge thank you to everybody who has donated so far to our appeal. This is what you money is going towards. Life saving equipment which is in very short supply. Our first shipment arrived today and we hope to be able to provide many more.

I would also like to give a massive thank you to our staff and all of the volunteers who have worked so hard since last week sorting through all of the donations we have received at our warehouse. We have received over 50 pallets of items from all over Cambridgeshire including many local schools. Please keep donating and sharing so we can reach our target and more.

Thank you for all your support so far, it has been amazing.
The huge number of items we have received has been overwhelming and therefore we cannot take anymore items at the Chatteris drop-off until these have been sorted. Ukrainelifeline.com are no longer able to accept clothing and are asking for medical supplies, toiletries and dry foods only. We will let you know once we can accept more deliveries.
Please keep donating to our justgiving page as we can then buy essential medical supplies / blankets directly in bulk at better prices. If everybody donates just £2-3 it will make such a massive difference.

We have just ordered a quantity of medical kits, trauma dressings and 1000 emergency foil blankets which should be arriving early next week.

Urgent Appeal for Ukraine

We are asking for urgent help from the modelling community to aid our friends in the Ukraine.

Most modellers have at some point made a kit from a Ukrainian manufacturer. They produce some of the finest models anywhere in the world and we have dealt with Miniart, Masterbox and ICM for a long time (nearly 20 years). They are no longer suppliers and have become friends.

We are in contact with some of our friends from Miniart and know that the situation is very dire. Some have made it to Poland but some of the staff, family and friends are still trapped in Ukraine.
Miniart have managed to find some warehousing space in Warsaw and are buying as many supplies as they can and driving them back to the border to help refugees who are trying to cross but supplies are becoming hard to find.

That is where the modelling community come in.
We are asking for your help to support the efforts in Ukraine as they are in urgent need of the following items.

Medical supplies, blankets, baby products (nappies, formula) and food (snacks, tinned and dry foods) New items only please.

We are aiming to do this through both fundraising and donations.

Whilst we know that the last few years have been difficult and the cost of living is rising rapidly, none of us have had to endure what is happening in Ukraine right now.
For the cost of one kit or one takeaway we can make a huge difference to the lives of the Ukrainian people and if everybody gives a little we can make a huge difference.

Company Status
With the ongoing situation with Covid-19 we have made some operational changes within the company. We are however still operational and shipping orders as fast as we can.

We are now operating with two shifts to help with social distancing and are working from 06:30am until Midnight. We are still working as efficiently as we can but there will be some delay with order processing and some orders will not go out on a same day basis. Due to these changes it may take longer to deal with enquiries but we are sure you will be understanding considering the current situation.

There have been a number of news reports highlighting the benefits of jigsaw puzzles for mental health reasons while self -isolating and demand has been huge for these (an increase of 1200%). Therefore we are prioritising jigsaw puzzle supplies over our normal mainstream model ranges. We apologise for any shortages in our normal products but feel this is the responsible and appropriate action to take.

All of our staff are taking every precaution advised by the government in terms of social distancing and only travelling to and from work and currently we have had no incidents of illness or self-isolating within the company. The staff are all working longer hours and we are very proud of the teamwork they have all shown.
