Lindy Garner Ceramics

Lindy Garner Ceramics Small batch ceramics made in Cheadle, Cheshire. Lindy Garner Ceramics is a small ceramics studio based in South Manchester- Cheadle to be a bit more specific.

It's a one woman show and each piece is handmade by me, Lindy, and no two pieces are the exactly the same. My main focus is decorative pieces which are a little bit different and bit quirky. I started Lindy Garner Ceramics in 2016 and haven’t looked back!

From a simple ball of clay to a finished dimple cup ✨
Every piece begins the same way: weighing the clay, wedging it to prepare the body, and then shaping it on the wheel. It’s a process I’ve repeated thousands of times over the years, but there’s still something satisfying about watching a lump of clay transform into something you’ll eventually hold in your hands.
These dimple cups are designed to feel comfortable to hold, whether you’re enjoying a flat white, tea, or something a little stronger.
Do you enjoy seeing more of the making process, or do you prefer the finished pieces?

Just clicked on something and somehow sent 13 page invites- I have no idea what I just did, who I invited and what I invited you to. Sorry if you were one of the unlucky ones.

A small cup, shaped by hand—each dimple pressed in slowly, leaving behind a rhythm you can feel.

This one carries soft, shifting tones settling into a form that fits naturally in your hands. Perfect for a flat white, a quiet evening tea, or something stronger at the end of the day.

These dimple cups are all about touch as much as function—made to be held, not just seen.

I’ve been working on a series of these, each one slightly different.
Would you use this for coffee… or something else?

The drop is live.
A very small, very sweary collection of handmade pieces—soft florals, slightly chaotic energy, and all made to be used every day.
Each one is a one-off, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Available now on my website.

A closer look at one of the mugs from the Emberglow Collection ✨

This glaze shifts from soft lavender into warm pink, settling into a gentle, flowing edge — every piece comes out a little different, but always with that same sense of movement.

Made to be used, held, and reached for daily.

Deep blue settles into darker pools at the base, with softer tones drifting above — Indigo Drift in motion.

This coffee cup was thrown by hand and glazed to echo deep water and shifting light. Smooth in the hand, quietly weighty, and made for everyday rituals that deserve a little attention.

A cup for slow starts, long pauses, and refills you don’t rush.

✨ Not sure which piece to choose? Gift vouchers are available too.

I’ll be at the this Saturday at the Long Eaton Art Room, Nottingham — and this new Glowmelt coffee cup is coming with me ✨
It’s a bright, radiant pink that melts into a creamy satin base, and I’m so excited to share it as part of the Emberglow Collection.
If you’re nearby, pop in and say hello — I’ll have a selection of my favourite pieces with me, plus a few new experiments like this one. 💕

It’s Monday so that means I was back wearing my builders hat. I’m still insulating, vapour barrier-ing & taping. My neck is killing me from craning my neck & all the contortions I’ve been performing while balancing on a ladder & scaffolding. I have a tiny bit left to add the vapour barrier to & tons of taping to do.

I won’t be back at it until Sunday as I have a weekend day free of markets so going to take the opportunity to work an extra day. Will give a quick update in the morning for anyone who’s interested.

Layers of green, cream, and soft brown settle over speckled stoneware — a glaze that feels grounded and natural, like weathered rock after rain.
