A Regency house asks for a kitchen with gravitas, and here it lies at the hearth. We commissioned a substantial Portland stone mantel, hand-finished by local artisans to lend an immediate sense of history and permanence. This key architectural feature holds the room with gentle authority, while the classic black AGA sits within the alcove lined with delicately hand painted Delft tiles depicting English garden flowers - a pairing that brings the spirit of an inviting country home.
Part of a wider restoration of the significant Grade II* estate in Gloucestershire, our entirely bespoke kitchen has a quiet authenticity rooted in the era whilst feeling effortless for daily family life.
What makes it work is the balance - architectural grandeur softened by materials chosen to age with grace, designed and hand crafted here in Somerset for generations to come.
