So wonderful to show HM's Lord Lieutenant of Somerset around recently, along with DL Brig. Nigel Beacom.

Brigadier Nigel Beacom QVRM TD VR DL writes: It was a pleasure to join the Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset, Mr Mohammed Saddiq, on a visit to Polyvine Ltd in Cheddar, where we were warmly welcomed by Ian Wells, the Wells family and the senior management team.
A big thank you to Ian r and the whole family for their hospitality, for taking the time to update us on the business, and for providing such an interesting tour of their manufacturing facilities.

This year marks an impressive milestone for Polyvine, celebrating 40 years of British manufacturing since the business was established in 1986. As an independent, family-owned Somerset company, Polyvine has built a strong reputation for developing and manufacturing innovative, high-performance specialist coatings, supplying customers throughout the UK and exporting to markets around the world.

It was particularly encouraging to hear about the company's commitment to innovation, quality and sustainability, its pride in being part of Made in Britain, and its continued investment in British manufacturing. Equally impressive is the family's commitment to supporting the local community through partnerships with artists, heritage organisations, colleges and charitable initiatives, including this year's support for the Grand Appeal.

Polyvine is a wonderful example of the innovation, entrepreneurial spirit and family values that make Somerset's business community so special. Its 40-year journey is a real testament to the importance of home-grown businesses that create skilled jobs, develop world-class products and contribute to the local economy while reaching international markets.
Thank you again to Ian and the Wells family and the management team for such a warm welcome. We wish everyone at Polyvine continued success for the next chapter of this excellent Somerset success story. If you see our socials regularly, then you will have no doubt spotted some of the incredible murals created by the ridiculously talented Jordan at The Mural Company

He's got nothing but nice things to see about our Decorators Varnish, and that makes us very happy.

Are you a mural artist? You should probably get some...

This afternoon, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr Mohammed Saddiq, His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset, along with Brig. Nigel Beacom, Deputy Lord-Lieutenant, to our head office in Cheddar.

It was wonderful to be able to showcase the Polyvine brands, products and facilities, and talk about future plans. We are very proud of what we've achieved over the past 40 years, and telling our story is certainly something we enjoy.

Thank you for taking your time to visit us HM's Lord Lieutenant of Somerset
