Current state of living room. Starting to already get an itch to complete it. Lots to think about here though. Ideally done before Christmas. Lots to do. 💰 To be made first though.

Finally getting round to making our house a home. Little by little improvements are being made and it's the little furnishings taking it up a level. Got .anna to thank for her input and we can really smash it as a team 💪

"Setting Plaster" drenching the hallways upstairs and down as well as staircase. "Pointing" calming it down further on all trims throughout property. Genuinely feels encompassing, warm and the space envelopes and almost hugs you as you walk in. Walls plastered and painted by myseif. Stunning and so happy 😍

An actual slog that today. Full bag and a half just for first coat 👀 what's happening to me? Nearly died.... ☠️ Scary times.

"As little as possible for as much money as possible" my mantra didn't apply today.

You'll be hard pushed to find better quality work than that anywhere in the country. I sound like a t**t but it's the truth and I only speak honestly and openly.

Left the big stairwell wall for the hottest day of the year. I'm so so 🧠. . Plastering on that heat is just a nonsense. Fair play to everyone smashing it. I can't stand it 🤮

Now to buy little decor stuff for this finished hallway. Plastered, painted using the colour "Setting plaster" and done our metallic show storage to match. Pleased is an understatement.

So another little project ticked off. Done in the correct order this time so masking to the trims prevented any paint peel rather than doing the walls then trim causing tape to peel paint off new walls. Also colour drenched walls and ceilings We have gone with "Setting Plaster" to slightly brighten and give warmth as you enter our property. Personally love it and the 'Pointing" doors and trims balance it all very nicely. All downstairs almost complete now and all done in the first 6 months of being here.

Hard shift that today
Leak from somewhere so had to reattach ceiling, fill a couple holes, tape up, put stop beads above railing and next to that and then plaster this artex ceiling plus under the stairs and a little bit going up the stairs....Underestimated how much stuff so had to mix up 3 times in total 🤮 the finish remained the same though... And those beads are very crispy.. 😉

See final slide for Finatex 2 in action ****

Really successful little day at the office. No spats, just testing and sticking with
Finatex 2 for laying on and flattening. Mediflex the rest of the way till dry pass with plastic. Again Refina. So happy with the outcome on this one. See pic 4 for original state. Bottom level wasn't the same as top. Used bonding in first coat of finish to get over and then 1 coat of skim as normal. Customer delighted. Me too. Happy days 👊 😀
