Safely reboard the flooring then insulate the roof.

Overall significantly improving maximum safe storage potential and increasing thermal efficiency.

We were happy to rearrange and re-use some of the existing boarding which to minimise unnecessary waste of materials 😊

We’ve been really busy working not facebooking recently, time for a catch up on some recent things.

Here is a summerhouse we built in the garden of a new build, turf removed and ground levelled, slabs laid precisely, panels sprayed and then built.

Some before and after shots from a 3 storey hallway stairs and landing we refreshed last week for a regular client whilst they were away on holiday 😇.

Full colour change throughout using The Little Greene Paint Company ‘Ambleside’ green.

Ceilings finished with Little Greene ‘Joanna’.

Spindles, bannisters, doors and all other woodwork is finished in Little Greene’s ‘Joanna’ Intelligent eggshell for a warmer feel over the more commonly used brilliant white.

Satisfying to give a completely new lease of life to the high traffic areas of the house.

Some before and after shots of a utility space we modernised last week.

Our client wanted the shower removed and replaced with a functional Belfast sink and the storage cupboards to have a more sleek look to match their kitchen.

We removed the shower and tiling, removed all the old cabinets and fitted modern handleless cupboard in their place.

Just waiting on a plasterer to finish off the area above the sink and a decision on flooring for the space now 😇

Here’s another kitchen we’ve just this week finished building for a client.

As well as assembling and carefully aligning the units and doors, we also laid luxury vinyl flooring across the kitchen and dining room floor space 😎

We returned after the worktops were fitted to fill and paint the wall spaces to make it feel finished. Just waiting on windowsills when our client has chosen some.

The original flooring in the kitchen area was not that level and the measurements taken by the kitchen planner weren’t as accurate as we would expect! We overcame these issues and delivered a finish we are proud of 😊

We installed all new Shaker style cupboard doors, plinths and architraves for the clients this time.

A precisely and carefully executed overhaul giving a more traditional feel over the high-gloss frontage they had before.

Whilst we were painting out this kitchen for a client we also built them some bespoke folding doors to hide their appliance alcove.

The alcove mouth was not level, nor was the floor below so we made the frame to compensate for this. We tailored the doors so they open and close smoothly without fouling the floor.

We then finished the doors and framing in the same Farrow & Ball colour as the rest of the woodwork in the room and added some magnets to keep the doors sitting neatly when closed.

A challenge but we feel the end result was well worth the effort 🤔🧠

Before and after shots again, this time it’s 17 fence panels and a shed.

Carefully coated with Ronseal yesterday just before the rain came. They look a lot more uniform now. Fresh!

We had a great time doing this one, a little (and slightly rickety) garden shed project we recently worked on.

We added battening to the internal frame work, boarded the floor and walls, then made some useful shelving for the far end.

From a wobbly, leaky and unorganised space to a strong, dry and tidy space 🔨🪚🥰

A bathroom makeover from last week for a returning client in the Cotswolds.

Practical luxury vinyl flooring fitted to replace the carpet and a full colour change and refresh of the woodwork and ceiling paint.
