A tall stair wall is one of the hardest spaces to style. The art has to work from below, as you climb and in passing.

The solution: a considered mix of frame finishes and sizes, one cohesive colour story, and two rechargeable brass picture light to make it glow after dark.

Got a wall that needs a plan? DM me.

Odd corners, under-stair gaps and landings are where most homes lose usable space.

Here, a niche became a little display for greenery, and framed prints turned a pass-through into a moment worth pausing for.

If your space needs this kind of thinking, DM me.

A narrow hallway still has to welcome, store and impress.

A confident door colour, a glass pendant, warm panelling, layered art and a patterned curtain turn a tight space into a proper arrival.

Want your entrance to work this hard? DM me.

The work behind the pretty pictures isn’t always pretty. This message last week reminded me that it’s seen. 💜

Onwards and upwards! Allons-y!

The brief: a 6-year-old boy, chill little soul, who could handle strong colours. Loves dressing up. Wanted his own desk like his big sis, somewhere to display his treasures, and an armchair for bedtime stories.

So we gave him all of it. A vibrant green ceiling, a striped rug that does the talking, a cosy reading corner and a bunk bed layout with room for the big sis when guests come over.

Great kids’ bedroom design isn’t a compromise between what looks good and what works for them. It can be both.

Shelving doesn’t have to sit on the floor holding books.

Turn it on the wall and it becomes a display for his treasures. Add a pegboard and the desk becomes his command centre. Same pieces, used differently, and suddenly the room works harder for him.

Smart storage and clever use of space is often less about buying new and more about rethinking what you’ve already got.

Still using things the way they’ve always been used? DM me. 🌙

That’s the full review from a 6-year-old walking into his new room for the first time. I’ll take it over any five-star rating.

This is the part I never get tired of: the moment a room reveal stops being a plan and becomes his space.

Want this reaction from your own kids? DM me. 🌙

Your personal style isn’t missing. You’ve just been taught to look for it in the wrong places.

Today’s Raebellion is about why you second guess your choices, and why trusting your own taste might be the most rebellious design decision you make.
