All the greens!
Inspired by my overgrown garden 😆😆
I bought this Debbie Bliss Roma yarn from a Quilt show last week and I had no idea what to make with it. So I just cast on 60 stitches and went with the flow. Turns out it's a happy chunky yarn that was content to host some Drops Lima and Wendy Celeste sparkly stripes. I'm excited for how this will turn out and it's giving me some ideas for more chunky knits.

I'm so excited to be taking part in my first test knit for Lydia from Game of Wool.
Test knitting is when you agree to knit for a designer from their unpublished pattern in a particular size to check that it works. Hope I don't mess it up! 😆😆💪🏼

Busy Bee here. 🐝
(Our real bees are hibernating and all are safe and well. 😍)

I've nearly finished my Valentine's Jumper. Just a sleeve to go. Im really pleased with how this one is going as I've deviated from any pattern and knitting it the way I want to in my favourite silk yarn. It's so soft I just love knitting with it.

I was given a wool winder for Christmas so I've been happily unravelling old projects I no longer wear to reuse the yarn. I've also bought up a few old Charity shop knits to unravel and reuse at a later date.

Bombur the Dachshund had a dog coat on his Christmas list but he didn't get one so I thought I'd make him one. Ive bought an old quilted puffer jacket and a pattern so I hope he's looking forward to wearing red. I think he will look very cute. He's already decided the coat is comfy as I caught him rolling on it yesterday, giving it his approval. 😉🐕

Spot the dog mamma😆
I said no more making and as soon as I said that I decided to make a replica of Baff's stocking- originally made by Baffs nanny Pauline. I drew round it, made a pattern, pieced it and then completely winged the sewing and bias binding.
I'm pleased with the result. But if you are wondering why the turquoise one doesn't have Bombur's name on it....well he can't read yet. 😆
