Uh-oh, the Daves are revolting. They've read the comments about themselves and take exception with being called 'scary' or 'stern' 🤣🤣

They've elected a leader, called Dave (obviously), and would like everyone know that, despite their spiky appearance, they are much more 'My Little Pony' than 'Evil Genius'.

Okay Dave, we get the message 😳👍

He's finished! 😍👍 I'm so pleased at how he's turned out! His shiny tail feather 'eyes' look stunning in the sunlight, and they are just bits of old drinks cans! How brilliant is that?! ♻️💚

He's now residing in a lovely solid wood frame 64x24cm, that we rescued from a Charity shop and have given a new lease of life ❤️

If you feel you need to have Mr Peacock in your home, drop me a message! 😀👍❤️ I don't think he's going to be around for long!

Making the 'eye' tail feathers for Mr Peacock 😀👍

The bottom layer is cut with a plectrum punch out of Caffeine-free Diet Coke cans, then circles of Irn Bru can (orange), Juiced Monster can (turquoise blue) and Green Lemonade can (black).

Now to wait for the glue to dry, then I can position them on the tail of the peacock and he will be complete! Yay! 😀👍💖🦚💚♻️

Isn't he just gorgeous! 🦚💖 Having a lovely afternoon, totally absorbed in drawing Mr Peacock with my Birthday Faber-Castell coloured pencils 😊👍

The next stage is going to be adding his wonderful tail feathers, for which I will be using a plectrum cutter and several circular punches to cut shapes out of old drinks cans ♻️💚 Watch this space! 😀👍💖
