Ad. We are thrilled to have been invited to style a warm, layered moodboard for the launch of new Malone collection - a beautifully refined contemporary kitchen that feels architectural yet incredibly calm.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Malone’s clean-lined cabinetry provides the perfect foundation for a more wellness-focused, natural approach to styling. Rather than competing with the design, the styling is about softening it, introducing warmth, tactility, and personality in ways that help the space feel lived-in and restorative.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Natural elements such as stone, dried foliage, and flowers from the garden introduce tactility and a connection to nature. Textiles and design details, including checkerboard, subtle striped linens, warming leather, and braided wool, add pattern, texture, and a whimsical touch.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The antique brass detailing sits beautifully against Malone’s contemporary lines, adding depth and a sense of history, while earthy paint tones and a generous wool-and-mohair rug help anchor the space. Scent is just as important; I chose Plum & Ashby’s Seaweed and Samphire for its fresh, coastal notes - a small sensory layer that instantly changes how a room feels.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Styling here is intentionally effortless. Ceramics collected from travels and a simple, colourful canvas propped against a shelf introduce personality, completing a kitchen that feels calm, layered, lived-in, and welcoming.
