Derbyshire Voluntary Action are to publish a book 'Life in Lockdown'.This is a lovely submission we've received by Christine Richmond-Brough. I recently completed this painting which is a copy of 'Moonlit Clocks II' for a lady who requested her mothers ashes to be put in the top of the clock and in the seeds floating heavenwards. She messaged me to say that she is delighted with the painting and it brings her great comfort.

The process requires around a teaspoon of ashes(depending on size of painting) and on request I would send you:

• A self-addressed return envelope
• Instructions

Would you like your loved one’s ashes set within the paint of a picture that reminds you of them? Well that’s just what I did for my daughter after we lost my mum; I painted her grandma’s favourite flower ‘a poppy’ and set the ashes within the centre of the flower. It now hangs above her fireplace and she says is a beautiful constant reminder and brings her great comfort.
I have now decided to offer this service to others-

Received this photo this morning and was asked to share with you as Heather doesn't have a Facebook account. They chose to hang 'Moonlit Clocks' on their kitchen wall and are over the moon with it!
