Did you know we have a workshop space right here at Clothkits? 👀 Tucked away in our Chichester shop is our lovely creative studio, where we host a whole range of sewing and craft workshops!

There’s plenty to get stuck into, including:

🪡 Beginner sewing classes
✂️ Dressmaking & pattern cutting
🧶 Knitting & crochet
🧵 Sashiko, darning & visible mending
🏡 Lampshade making & other creative projects

Our workshops are taught by experienced tutors in small, friendly groups, so there’s something for complete beginners and more confident makers alike. We even have sewing machines and tools ready to use!

We’re Clothkits, an independent sewing and fabric shop based in Chichester, with an online shop for makers across the UK and beyond.

Clothkits has been inspiring people to sew since 1968, and we’re particularly known for our unique printed sewing kits, where the pattern pieces are printed directly onto the fabric to make getting started that little bit easier. 🧵

Look at this rather beautiful lot
We are in complete awe
The incredibly talented mother of the bride, Anja Baak, made this gorgeous Peonie dress by Fabric Godmother in the most exquisite Liberty silk, bought from Clothkits. What an incredible make every detail is just so delicious.
And then there’s the bride, pieternel, a talented fashion designer who made her own dress too. Just stunning.
What an extraordinarily talented family.
Thank you for letting Clothkits be a tiny part of such a wonderful wedding
