A little update for Halloween this year 🎃

Unfortunately, we won't be doing Halloween at Honeysuckle and Moth this year.

I've absolutely loved the last 4 years of getting the stand ready and making it all spooky for the children to enjoy!

However, this year I'm taking our dog Harvey over to my Mum and Dad's for the evening where it's calm and quiet.

He's very sensitive to noise, and after hearing there may be fireworks, I've decided that at 12 years old, I'd rather take him somewhere I know will be quiet and where he can feel safe and settled.

I hope all the little ones have a lovely Halloween! 👻

Well, if the frost didn’t get my flowers last week, this weekend’s storm certainly finished the job!

Unfortunately, I’m now having to buy flowers in, which makes me a little sad as I absolutely love growing my own.

With this in mind, I’d really appreciate a little extra notice when placing orders, as I’ll need to travel to source flowers. With fuel costs being what they are, it’s much better for me to coordinate this with other orders or trips I already have planned to keep the costs down as much as I can. Thank you so much for understanding!

Lastly, a huge thank you to everyone who has ordered flowers from me so far this year, visited the flower stand, and especially to those who have trusted me with such important occasions, from weddings to saying goodbye to loved ones. It genuinely means so much to be a small part of these moments 🌿

We’ve woken up to frost the past two mornings, and I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t making me a little anxious!
So grateful for Daniel, as always, helping me cover the flowers in the dark whilst I get myself into a bit of a panic.
A big thank you to everyone who placed an order with me this week. It’s been a really busy one, and I’m so grateful for all the support 💐

Cutting flowers in the garden this evening for The Cricketers Pub Shroton tomorrow! 💐
Feeling very bittersweet knowing the frosts are creeping closer and these will be the last of my homegrown flowers for this year. It's always sad to see the season coming to an end, but I'm already looking forward to next year and growing more than ever! 🌱
