Last week, my darling sister Florence made her way to Rainbow Bridge, and I’m sure she found a body of water immediately.

I have tears rolling down my face as I type this, so I’m going to try and keep this short, especially as Harvey has had quite enough of me crying!

Florence was truly the best friend I could have ever asked for. We are both major water babies, and I couldn’t have wished for a better swimming and paddle boarding buddy. Some of my happiest memories are of us out on the water together, with her loving every minute of it.

She has been laid to rest overlooking the very pond we used to paddle board and swim in, surrounded by wild deer and bunnies. I honestly can’t think of a more perfect place for her to be.

I made her a colourful wreath for her burial, because Florence brought so much colour, light and happiness into my heart. I also cut a little piece of my hair and plaited it together in hers, so hopefully, when my time comes, we’ll find each other quickly.

Until we meet again, my beautiful Florence.
I love you. 🌈🤍

Unfortunately this is a little bit of a moan..

Whilst I appreciate there is nothing that can be done now and a lot of people won't see an issue with what has just happened - every single penny does have an impact on businesses, especially an incredibly small business like myself!

I just witnessed two young girls 8.25pm ish wearing hoodie/towels pick up a handful of my business cards, put them in the water bowl I put out for people walking their dogs & then add them back into the bowl where the rest of them were sitting and now the entire lot are ruined. And they laughed - a lot!

So now I've lost a good wedge of my cards for a laugh. It's not funny to me.

Please be mindful of the impact you, your children and others have on small businesses.
