Hi,
Just before Christmas I was advised that I was being treated as urgent for my knee op. I have had my pre op assessment so I am now just waiting for the call.
As I do not know how long it will take me to get up and about and able to take courses after my op and I do not mess people about , I have decided to wait until July until I book courses in. I am now organising booking dates with the hall and then I will issue my list.
I enjoy seeing everyone and running the courses so if I get mobile sooner I will book some in earlier and let you know.
I am now rushing around trying to finish my willow harvest and sorting the willow with the help of my cat (Frost) and my horse (Murphy). Frost likes to hide behind the bundles but Murphy will nick a bundle and start to eat it so I now shut the bottom half of the door and only let him watch me sorting it. For a slow old timer he is incredibly quick when it comes to food.! My son is much more helpful and luckily for me he carries all of the willow into the shed.
I have also been trying to finish decorating my dining room which I started after Christmas but somehow I prefer to be outside with the willow so I have only painted the ceiling so far and keep making excuses to do the rest!
There is a lot less willow this year and some varieties are only half the size due to the drought last year but I still have plenty to make my crafts and run courses (special thanks to Musgrove Willows). Unfortunately I won't be able to run any harlequin willow tree courses as I wanted to use my willow and it is not as tall as I would like and I suspect my op will not be far away.
If anyone has a particular choice of course they want to do let me know and I'll try to fit it in.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has supported me this year , it has been a lovely year for me.

I will add in photos as I take them but the following items are for sale. All of these items have been made by me and you can pick them up either from my house (Brinkworth) or if you let me know what you would like, I can take the items to the Brinkworth Village Hall at 5:30 pm this Saturday 13th December.

A big well done to my willow caricature reindeer course last Saturday. It was the first time weaving for a lot of you and even those who had been at a previous class it was something completely different. They all turned out amazingly- well done.

Dasher and Prancer will be at the Big Malmesbury Christmas Craft Fair on the 22nd November, come and see us at the Malmesbury Town Hall 11am- 3pm . There will be 40 stalls!
