Looking forward to being back in Melksham on Saturday for The Melksham Makers' Market
Do come along, you'll find plenty of talented makers selling a wide range of products!

Say hello to Tracey from Mrs Mosley's Posies 🌸

Tracey grows and creates the most beautiful flowers, with fresh seasonal bouquets alongside her lovely dried flower creations too.

Her stall is always such a calm and pretty one to stop at, full of flowers, plants, posies, wreaths and thoughtful little touches for the home and garden.

Tracey grows many of her own blooms before turning them into bouquets and keepsake dried flower pieces… and you can really see the love and care that goes into everything she makes.

We absolutely love having local businesses like Mrs Mosley’s Posies at the market 🧡

Everyone is welcome to this event on Tuesday. There are some wonderful stalls to browse some top quality products and services. There are also some amazing raffle prizes to be won which have been donated by each stall holder. Bring a friend or two!

We’re open! 🎉

The Melksham Makers’ Market is all set up and ready for you…and it’s already looking lovely down here ⭐

We’ve got LOADS of marvellous makers with us today, so there’s plenty to see…from handmade gifts and jewellery to flowers, treats and lots of things you didn’t know you needed until you spot them!

If you fancy a wander, a catch up, and a little mooch round some amazing local stalls, we’d love to see you.

It’s nearly time!

The Paper Panda & Friends Emporium opens in two days. Eek!

It’s so easy to join in. Here’s how it works.

1. Join the group ‘Paper Panda and Friends Emporium’. You can search for it in the groups section or follow the link in the comments.

2. Tomorrow at 9pm (Thursday) watch the lovely Lou do a live grand unboxing of goodies from some of the makers to whet your appetite. There will also be chance to win big. Yay!

3. Friday at 9am, grab a cuppa, go to the group and watch the feed as the listings go live throughout the day. Repeat until Monday 9pm. If you fancy something you see claim it by saying ‘mine’ or ‘yes please’ in the comments. Be quick as many items are one of a kind and the Enporium is run on a first come first served basis. Payment details will be in each listing along with all the other information.

Say hello to Tracey from Mrs Mosley's Posies 👋

Tracey grows and creates the most beautiful flowers, with fresh seasonal bouquets alongside her dried flower pieces…her stall always feels like a little pocket of calm.

You’ll find everything from fresh flowers to dried wreaths, posies and frames, as well as house and garden plants, potted bulbs, and lovely pots and vases.

She’s a former nurse turned flower grower, now growing her own blooms to turn into bouquets for everyday, events and special occasions…and drying them to create her gorgeous keepsake pieces too.

There’s something really special about flowers that have been grown and arranged by the same person, and it really shows in what Tracey does.

We’re so pleased to have her with us at the market 🧡

Today I’d like to introduce Claire, who is also selling her artwork at the next Paper Panda & Friends Emporium from 24-27th April, here on facebook.
I love her tiny works of art that she calls ‘happiness nuggets’ isn’t that a lovely expression? Here’s what she has to say:

Hello. My name is Claire and I’m the artist behind Furrow and Fern.

I am living with long covid and whilst I don’t want this to define me I can’t deny it has informed my work.

Being limited in what you are able to do can make your world a little smaller and to combat this I search for beauty in the little things. It really is everywhere once you actively start looking for it. A raindrop on a leaf, bluebells flowering in the shadowy forest, light shining through the branches of the trees.

I want to share the beauty I find and that’s where my ‘happiness nuggets’, or ‘dopamine dinkies’ come in. Small, original hand-inked drawings or mini pastel paintings that spread a little joy.

I like to think each one is infused with a hint of invisible sparkle and positive energy because of how much happiness they give me to make, I’m pretty sure a little magic is imbued into each piece with every stroke. I hope you love my work and I look forward to sharing my latest pieces with you.

Where do I get my dried flowers from?

Well this is how many of them start their lives. I sowed these on Monday and popped them into my heated propagator. Five days later and they look like this!

These flowers will be ready to pick and dry later in the summer, then more crafting can begin.

I’m now creating these mini dried posies in a variety of colour combinations, ready for upcoming markets, including the exclusive online Paper Panda and Friends Emporium from 24-27th April.
