Yesterday was one of those full circle days. I started at Decorex International | Europe’s Luxury Interior Design Show , soaking up beautiful interiors, colours and textures, letting ideas spark, and being there reminded me of the front image for this post, taken a few years ago in collaboration with The House Directory | interior design sourcebook. It was such a privilege to see my home up on the billboards, a moment I’ll always remember.

I was also lucky enough to attend the The List by House & Garden breakfast and hear a talk the lovely Fiona and interior designer Claudia in conversation, which was completely energising. I also loved seeing the work of friends Colours of Arley and it was an extra treat to bump into the fabulous Minni Parker Designs and Sophie Cooney Runners along the way. I also managed to catch a talk on sustainable lighting before finishing the day with a visit to the lovely STARDUST LONDON , who currently has Francis de Lara as their visiting artist. The perfect end to a day full of inspiration.

It’s been another busy but fulfilling week and I can feel the energy gearing up towards Christmas already.

I like to start the week on a high and am holding onto summer memories. Is anyone else doing this?

This Colours of Arley photoshoot was a real highlight for me. Sunshine, gorgeous stripes and colours, and having my daughter Alice, and Lou’s baby Cilla on board made it extra special. We’ve started early with their training, but they’re both showing great potential!

It was pure joy, and so lovely to look back on the day, expertly captured by Lou .

Good morning all, I hope you had a fabulous weekend! It’s great to start the week with a good tune don’t you think? This one’s a goodie I think.

I’m definitely having a green moment 💚. I am proud to show you my own brand striped tablewear in Lettuce & Bud Green made with a Colours of Arley natural cotton-linen. I’m completely smitten , but I’d love to know what you think? All available on the website.

And, of course, my cabbageware had to make an appearance. It never, ever fails. I love styling it on dressers, hanging it on walls and, best of all, actually using it. Why keep beautiful things for best?

Well, lightning really has struck twice! How on earth did that happen? I’m so delighted to have also just been on the front cover of the US English Home magazine. Two covers, one very happy girl.

My sincere thanks to everyone who helped bring our home to life and to the The English Home magazine team for sharing it with a new audience.

Twelve years in the making, and believe me, there has been plenty of blood, sweat, tears, and maybe a few choice words along the way! If you’re renovating an old house, I’m happy to share the lessons, we’ve learnt most of them the hard way! I’m incredibly grateful to all the brilliant people who’ve been part of the journey, I’m still pinching myself.

It feels like an Invisible Green kind of day!

It’s been a while since I’ve shown you our ‘Invisible Green’ office. This room went from white to green overnight, and, by the way, there’s absolutely nothing invisible about it!

It was right at the very start of my colour journey with the gorgeous Edward Bulmer Natural Paint team, and I’ve never looked back.

A bold move? Absolutely. One I’m very glad I made? 100%.

Morning all,

I’m beginning to take in deliveries for my upcoming Autumn and Christmas events, which will all be landing on the website over the next couple of weeks.

I LOVE getting new stock in. The problem is, I also want to keep it all, and, quite frankly, I simply don’t have the room in my house. I have already been told that if any more ‘stuff’ comes through the door, I’ll need a new husband. A bit harsh, I think, don’t you?!

Here’s a little sneak peek of some of the pieces styled up, but there is SO much more coming to the website.

I’ll be hosting a November pop-up here at Rock the Heirloom HQ, running multiple tablescaping workshops, and I’m taking part in Shop the best independent brands again.

I hope to catch lots of you at one of them! X
