I have to say, after what has been some of quietest months since opening, and a few weeks of feeling quite down about it, to open facebook today and read this, has honestly nearly brought a tear to my eye!

We love supporting our customers, no matter how wild their requests may be, and Vicky is certainly no stranger when it comes to challenging us, (we wouldn't have it any other way 🤣 though), so to know that our customers love supporting us, and recognise that they are supporting our dream and our family business too, means the absolute world to us!

Thank you so much, Victoria Cakes!

My friends little girls cake from last week . Eva Rose designed her cake herself through ChatGPT.
Pinterest used to be my worst nightmare . Now I’m dealing with AI images 🤣.
So I did my best to recreate . It wasn’t indentical. Obviously.
But she absolutely loved it 🥰.
It was choc chip cookie dough flavour inside . Delicious. 😋 . Once again big thankyou to The Cake Decorating Supply Shop . They made the number 10 , plaque and the bunting and also the capybaras using their 3D printer .
Yes these are all things I could make out of edible modelling paste .
But in all honestly . They wouldn’t have looked as good as what the cake decorating shop have made here .
Also by me ordering toppers from them . It not only saved me some time . It helps and supports their business too.
When I go to collect any toppers they’ve made . I also buy other bits. I was in their shop 3 times that week . Honestly I could spend a fortune in there! . It’s such an amazing little shop . I love it !!
Years ago I tried to make everything edible on a cake . But now I realise it’s not so
Important. It’s about what looks better .
As long as the cake tastes amazing . ( which I can guarantee it will with my cakes 😊) And the design looks amazing . They are the two the most important things .
I will of course make everything edible on your cake if that’s what you would prefer ( however not princesses though ) that’s were I draw the line . Pretty princess faces I just can’t do . Maybe I’ll share a story about that in another post 😬😆

If you are out and about in chorley (at night) you will have seen that we have changed our little cake sign PINK! This is for in honour of our friend, Natalie Kerr.

We've known Natalie for over 14 years, our children grew up together through nursery, primary school, and high school (it's crazy to think they are now at University!) Natalie has spent every moment that we have known her giving back to the community, compagining, raising awareness, and giving thanks for the incredible gift of life she received from her donor 🩷

If you would like to learn more about organ donation please check out: https://www.organdonation.nhs.uk/

Not a cake post but... Just want to say a huge thanks and give a shout out to Project H2 who went above and beyond to get our son and his friends to prom in style!

Anyone looking for prom, wedding or event cars, give them a follow, the cars are amazing. They were so professional, friendly and the service was second to none, I couldn't recommend them more!!
