Just finished these two behemoths and I have to say that the results, I think, are worth the devilish work I had making the shades! They are really big but somehow the overall effect is one of lightness. Lovely fabric from a curious shop on Vancouver - an unexpected find😍

First part of my bank holiday Monday with my 12 year old daughter.. The Roman Villa at Chedworth, astonishing and obviously the height of luxury and high tech for Britain back in 362 AD, complete with under floor heating, whirlpool bath, communal loos.. And in the most stunning part of Gloucestershire!!

I've taken my desk outside to do my admin.. Much too beautiful to Di it indoors😊of course, there are distractions such as this leftover dewdrop in the grass, glinting red, blue, green changing with the slightest movement of the eye! Microcosmic colour fest😍

I allowed myself a day off😊sunbathing, planting and enjoying the Sun☀️I've got rather green fingers so I have quite an array of tropical plants planted from seed: an avocado brought back from Colombia by my nephew, an orange tree from a seed in an orange nicked by the same from the Royal Gardens in Seville, a loquat tree from a stone and my gooseberries from good old Gloucestershire! Getting the Sumner vibe🌴😍
