It's been a year...
I chose to close the shop because it was taking so much of my time and delivering the least amount of profit. When I talk about profit, I mean actual money in my pocket. Fern & Ivy is not a limited company, it's just me. Money made is my wage, my only income.
I miss the shop, the people and the space but it was the right choice. It gave me the space to rebrand and refocus on what I want to offer.
I made the difficult decision to end our regular subscription too and just continue the mini into 2026.
I've been busy doing work for corporate clients behind the scenes but really needed to pull back on social media for a while as it was all a bit overwhelming.
In my personal life, I've chosen to train as a PT, I've already completed my Level 2 qualification and have started on Level 3. I absolutely love fitness, I'm a passionate vegetarian and don't drink alcohol and have never felt better than I have in the last year. I would love to eventually work with other women who want to make a positive health change. If that might be you, my other account is π
Fern & Ivy is still here and will continue into 2026. I don't have any big plans, in fact I am pulling back on certain things, but the core remains. I've tried out some ideas in the past year that haven't worked, but if we don't try we never know right?
I appreciate everyone who has been here for my journey and supported me and Fern & Ivy in any way. Here's to not having a plan and just seeing where the year takes us π
