My developed sausage roll recipe turned out well! I made hot dog sausage rolls 😋 they had hot dog relish inside, which I made myself. It was the first time I've made relish or anything like it, also a layer of fried onions to bring the hot dog theme. Delicious!

Today I had another look at the pizza task from my Technology Triumphs creative cookery level 2 workbook 1, and made vegetable pizzas for my sisters and I for dinner. My sisters like vegetables but to be honest I'm not as keen, though I do love pizza! I made a list of toppings I enjoy, black olives, rocket, sweetcorn, red bell pepper (I actually didnt think I liked bell pepper but wanted to try it again and was surprised to find i actually do like it now) and mozzarella. I added sliced sausage to mine as I'm not vegetarian like my sisters. I then designed the pizza around those ingredients, with rings of bright colours to make it look exciting. I also made the pizza sauce myself, using tinned tomatoes, courgette, cherry tomatoes, garlic, carrot and fresh basil. Lots of nutrients!
I served the pizza with a side salad and fries and we all enjoyed it!
