A little proof that you don’t need a huge bathroom to create a luxurious one. 🤍

Two of the smaller spaces from a recently completed project, both designed to feel calm, considered and effortlessly luxurious.

It’s often the smaller rooms where every detail matters most.

There’s something about classic design that never asks for attention, yet always holds it. Soft panelling. A sculptural freestanding bath. Marble with bold movement. Warm brushed brass that will only become more beautiful with time.

A bathroom designed to feel as though it has always belonged here, and one that will still feel just as timeless years from now.

A little change from bathrooms... 🤍

I’ve just finished my first six weeks back at work after having my little girl in November, and one of the projects I’ve loved most over the past few months has been putting her nursery together.

We originally planned on fitted furniture to make the most of the storage, but we quickly realised it just wasn’t achievable with our budget. Instead, we found this antique chest of drawers and knock down wardrobe and I honestly wouldn’t change it, it adds so much more character.

There’s still a few finishing touches to add (although I’m not convinced a room is ever really finished!), but I’m so happy with how it’s come together.

Behind every bathroom is a conversation, a sketchbook, countless samples... and usually the two of us.

It’s been a while, so we thought it was time to properly say hello again.

We’re Sophie and Abbie, sisters and co-founders of Ribble Valley Bathrooms.

Together, we design bathrooms that feel considered, timeless and beautifully lived in. Spaces that don’t just look beautiful on day one, but continue to feel like home for years to come.

Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or you’ve only just found us, thank you for following, we are so glad you’re here. 🤍

It’s never just about making a bathroom look beautiful.
It’s about changing how a space feels.

Lighter. Calmer. More considered.

A room to begin and end each day in.

Swipe to see the before. 🤍

The cloakroom, often the smallest room in the house.

Yet somehow, always one of the most memorable.

Designed as part of a five-bathroom farmhouse holiday home in the Forest of Bowland.

This wasn’t designed to be an ice bath.....but in this heat, we’d make an exception. ☀️🧊
