This stunning kitchen and entrance boot room was part of the project that I probably learned the most on with regards to business and people.

This stunning elegant kitchen came with a lot of issues, which is sometimes the norm when you’re dealing with an old converted building in the west end of Glasgow. With a floor level that ran like a hillside we had to try and resolve that first. However with an entrance door that was just over 1m wide and 3m in height we didn’t fancy trying to take that down and back up when it came to tiling the floor, so another big learning curve.

We tried to maximise the space as best we could for such a narrow kitchen and created a bespoke larder/dresser style unit at could be used to hide away the clutter that comes with kitchen utensils.

We also created a bespoke boot room entrance space to house the new boiler and creat an extra bit of storage and seated area which matched the elegance and style of the property.

We hope you like this one as much as we do.

This project completed at the start of the year, probably caused me the most amount of stress and also probably taught me the biggest lessons.
And unfortunately made me trust people less.

Let’s just say some projects and clients you should say no too and wish them well and not start.

I am still incredibly proud of the work we carried out on this project and we absolutely bent over backwards to accomplish the final results, but as I said lessons have been learned.

For the bathroom in this project, was designed and supplied by the team at Scope Bathroom Interiors

An internal bathroom in a grand converted building in the west end of Glasgow.
This bathroom had all sorts of issues that had to be rectified before we could even consider installation.

Although the end result has brought the room up to date with a natural spa like feel.

Another bathroom another delighted client.

An upgrade to an ensuite from you standard new build offering in Dargavel. This ensuite required immediate attention due to the low quality shower tray which had actually cracked so it wasn’t usable.

Honestly the level of cost cutting and sometimes just the sheer lack of taking pride in your work is unbelievable. There was a full sheet of plasterboard held to the wall with just 5 screws. You can also see how easy the floor tiles came up, and although it makes my strip out a wee bit quicker. It doesn’t fill me with confidence for the rest of the work in the house.

Anyway this ensuite was transformed into a luxury that anyone would be happy to wake up in the morning and use.
Designed and supplied by the team at Scope Bathroom Interiors. It’s always a pleasure using good quality high end products.

The master ensuite/Ist floor shower room for the lovely couple in Bearsden.

This room threw up some issues, mainly with the flooring as one joist at the left hand side of the room was 40mm higher than the next joist, but we discussed this with the client and came up with a solution. With most old building you will encounter a few challenges and years of other peoples alterations, so we usually always strip back to the bare bones of the room and start a fresh.

Again this room was designed by the staff Scope Bathroom Interiors with all products and tiles coming from there extensive range of high quality goods.

This room turned out absolutely stunning and although a more traditional look which kept with the age of the building it certainly looks very much up to date.
With a large walk-in shower, double basin vanity unit, wall hung WC and underfloor heating, makes it more than inviting.

Another beautiful bathroom from last year for a lovely couple in Bearsden. A real joy to work for.

This bathroom came with a few issues, with it being an old property and also having the main staircase for the house to contend with and a cupboard area that housed the fuse board.

This was supplied and designed by talented people Scope Bathroom Interiors, although we did have to make changes to the layout on site just down to the joist positions and the construction of the room for getting pipework and wastes to run properly.

We also had to creat a new opening for the cupboard to allow access to the fuse board.

Needless to say the clients were delighted with the finish and we moved on to do the next shower room/ ensuite for them.

Another wee bathroom from last year. This was a previous clients daughter that we were asked to help with a bathroom that had a few issues around the bath area.
We supplied a new bath, shower screen, shower system, taps, flooring and a new heated towel warmer. The client supplied the beautiful tiles to create a feature area around the bath.

This proves that simple things can be stunning.

Here’s another one from last year, I did say I haven’t been on here for a while 😂

This small bathroom in Bishopton was a PVC nightmare, poorly thought out, with water leaking into the kitchen from the end of the tray, and going by the size of the hole under the shower tray when we lifted it, you could see the amount of corners cut.

We were asked to transform this bathroom into small luxury haven it has turned out to be. This was designed by one of the designers at Scope Bathroom Interiors and at first I wasn’t too sure about the different tile choices (3 in total) in such a small room, but I take my hat off to this decision as it absolutely works.

The main issue with this room was showering over the bath, as one of the clients was 6ft7 and the room had a very small ceiling height being a dormer roof bathroom.
I didn’t want the client to have to duck when using the shower, and he had a couple of inches to spare.

We hope you like this bathroom as much as the clients do.

I’ve not been on Facebook for a while so be prepared for some catch up.

Here is a bathroom we completed last year for a lovely couple in Erskine. There wasn’t a lot wrong with the original bathroom but the client never really liked the layout and also found some of the sharp corners an issue when watching young grandchildren.
Scope Bathroom Interiors came up with the new layout and supplied the stunning products to creat this room.

Needless to say the client was delighted with the finished result and we later went back to upgrade their cloakroom.
