Remember the post asking you what you thought I was making??

Well, here it is!!

This fused glass sink is made from scraps from my own work — bits that didn’t make it the first time round but clearly weren’t finished with me yet. I laid them up, fired them, and let the kiln do its thing.

There’s a lot of care in this one. Properly infused with loving energy (and a bit of stubbornness, if I’m honest). It’s got that depth and movement you only really get when pieces have a bit of history behind them.

It’s come out smooth, solid, and just the right amount of bold — the kind of piece that can hold its own in a high-end interior without shouting for attention. More quiet confidence than flash.

Quite pleased with this one.

I was lucky enough to host these two lovely beings in the studio yesterday. We pulled a whole tray of vitrigraph between us for them to use in their creative glass works!

I headed to the opening day of Norton Juxta Blooms today to treat myself to some beautiful tulips. It was a fabulous experience wandering amongst all the tulips trying to decide which pick your own to have in my bunch!

It is a must visit activity! What is also great is that now I have been once and paid the cutting fee, I can go as many times as I want this summer for free!

A new bunch every few weeks I think!!
