I'm so looking forward to our first sale this weekend in Keswick as West Cumbria Crafts. A wonderful selection of beautiful hand-crafted items available to browse or buy.

With an unexpected free day due to the cancellation of the Wasdale Head Show (such a shame) I've spent some time laminating and mounting our posters ready for Keswick next week - 17 and 18 October.

STOP PRESS: Today's Wasdale Head Show is cancelled due to the wet and windy conditions. Helvellyn Handcrafts is disappointed as it is always such an enjoyable day. I was part way up the valley when I got the message. Here's to next year - I already have it in my diary. Huge thanks to the organisers who put such a lot of work into it and had to make the difficult decision.

Many thanks to all who came to the sale today at Burgh by Sands. The sun shone, sales were decent and the craic great. Especially lovely to have repeat customers.

Thanks to Bev Castle for all the work behind the scenes and for the invitation. Hope to see you next year!
