It's been a while!! The past year has been challenging. I finally had a Reverse Shoulder Replacement in September 2025. It was very complex surgery and I was extremely ill afterwards. I'm getting there, slowly but surely.
I have been doing a little crafting and have been getting into the flow again 😀
I will post a few things that I've been working on 😍

Update*
Surgery cancelled because of infection risk 😔 will probably be a couple of months before reschedule.

Hi everyone, there won't be much activity in the attic for a while as I have my shoulder replacement tomorrow. As soon as I'm able I will be back 👍😘 xx

There hasn't been much activity in the attic, except for the Christmas decorations put back up until next time 😂
On a serious note though, I'm preparing practically and mentally for shoulder replacement surgery at the end of January.
However, I have a growing collection of vintage compacts, mostly powder, with no way to display them. So, cardboard, fancy paper, some trim, old navy velour pj top and my trusty hot glue gun I produced a display box that sits in my cabinet and can be lifted out when I'm pretending to be Sophia Loren, or someone from that era 😂

I've been privileged to spend the past two Tuesday's at the cancer support hub (CFCC) teaching vintage journal making. Everyone enjoyed it and produced fab Christmas journals. Great craic but I'm exhausted 😂 xx

Another completed, commissioned, one off, piece.
A 1950's magazine picture of the one and only Greta Garbo. Handmade frame made using cardboard and newspaper, (and a vintage diamante brooch). It represents the curtains that covered the old cinema screens ❤️
