Cleaning window at Ffarm Hall Betws Yn Rhos yesterday, which has recently re-opened as the first fully vegan hotel in Wales.

Fantastic to see this beautiful building open, and a real pleasure to clean the windows, even if it was challenging!

Visited an elderly customer in Penryn Bay today, the initial enquiry came in through Bark.

I quoted the customer to clear the guttering and clean all The UPVC soffits and facias via google maps, and said I would pop by to confirm the quote.

Another company also purchased the lead through bark, and turned up a bit before me. Having initially quoted the lady £150.00 (which isnt an awful price, however I would have been cheaper), upon completion they put the price up to £400.00, no materials needed and less than 2 hours of labour.

In my opinion the company in question has took advantage of the customer.

So I guess my point is, if you are unsure always ask for a written quote, and get quotes from multiple companies.

I will always offer a good service for a fair price, and hate to see people taken advantage off, but there are plenty of unscrupulous people out there giving honest folk a bad name. Watch out!

Started off cold this morning, but it was a beautiful day in Llanfairfechan and Penmaenmawr in the end.

A few new customers added to the round, and a some regular window cleans and 2 gutter clearance all done.
