E N G L I S H G A R D E N B U N C H 🎀
What’s in season now!?
🪴 Canterbury Bells, my absolute favorite, creating hight and structure.
🪴 It won’t be here for long- Nigella. Some call it Love-in-the-mist or even a w**d, I love its blue adding something different to a bunch.
🪴 Sweet Williams. The longest lasting flowers in a vase with a life of up to 3 weeks!
🪴Peony, although the rain may have affected their season now! A timeless May/June classic of elegance.
🪴 Snapdragons, or other wise known as Antirrhinum, the more you cut the more they come! Loving their tall wisps.
🪴Scabious, one of my loves and creates wonderful textures.
🪴 Fever few daises, it’s taken me around 3 years to master growing these, but were there! And they come back every year.
🪴 Sweetpeas - the classic scent of English cottage garden. Unbeatable scent.
🪴 English roses, are back! And mine appear to be the best iv had in years, heavily perfumed and vibrant in colour.

The season in between is now, just before the Dahlias, cosmos, zinnias and summer flowers.

G O O D B Y E S 🕊️

A week of sympathy flowers. A all home grown simply stunning farewell using the loved one’s beautiful garden. Another very pretty in pink, and timeless flower choice to remember a loved one. Always with dignity and class.

P A R I S H P E T A L S T U R N S 0️⃣5️⃣ 🎈
Five wonderful years of something I grew out of the ground, quite literally!
How did it all begin?…. I was a mum again for the second time, juggling a 18month old and a 4 year old and wondering if health and social care work was really “working” in that new chapter of motherhood.
I got offered a position of the church flower lady, and took it with great pleasure. I did my first large wedding, all grown from Colyton flowers and it put me on the map. Creating large instillations using homegrown flowers with such a wonderful ethos of saving the environment 💡 it was a good marketing pitch and I set off on a floristry diploma to sharpen up my skills.
My business started to grow, as did the growing side of parish petals as I learnt a lot about the British climate and how you could loose all your plants in one storm!
I left being the volunteer flower lady and handed the role over to some one new, a website was created and a studio was filled, a good rep was building and workshops at Christmas were full and I was finally living a career I’d always dreamed about.
Fast forward to today, as I navigate the business to wedding florals whilst running a residential home as well as spinning plates on my own home life. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Things iv learnt in the last 5 years… My price is final no matter how much some one try’s to change it (that always comes hard!) Don’t book more than one wedding in a day, (iv achieved 3 in a day before believe me it isn’t for the faint hearted) There’s no profit in myself selling bunches- this came as a tricky one but a £10 bunch would generate around £2 profit, it’s simply not worth my time. Knowing my worth, again this came later, people will always want something for nothing and haggle haggle, so let them haggle else where.

Thank you to every one who’s followed this journey from the off, it’s been a time, from spreads in wedding magazines, to setting up weddings in knee deep mud! Here’s to another 5 years, I can’t wait to see what’s next 🥂

P E O N I E S 💭
One of the most desirable wedding flowers, and by far the most asked for. Starting as sticky little bud balls and opening up to layers of dreamy blousy effortless beauty. They can be divas in the florist world, so timing on when they fully open is key!
The peony is know for good fortune, and a long and happy marriage.
It’s officially peony season in the UK 🇬🇧 so look for that British flag when you pick yourself up a bunch 🥰

E M I L Y 🪄
Little did we know a year ago the perfect most talked about bouquet was born!
Iv had SO many brides ask for replicas of “The Emily” which was inspired by Old English cottage garden flowers, scented, with movement and of course blush pastel palette.
In my opinion this really is a top tier wedding bouquet with so much texture, variety and exquisite shape. Happy first anniversary the Gales 💒

Her bouquet is a replica of yours, as it’s some what their day as well as they watch and support this milestone 😊 Their flowers mean as much as yours 👯‍♀️

Just breathtaking. I won’t be over this day in a hurry, Anna’s vision of greens teamed with muted pinks and hot pinks, absolutely staged the most wonderful day.
