▶️ A KNOCKOUT TRIP! ◀️

Those of us old enough to remember 80's Saturday night telly will no doubt recognise this belter!

We're so pleased to add one of the iconic Headless Horsemen from the TV show 'It's a Knockout' to this trips haul! Seriously fond memories of sitting with the folks as a kid watching this show!!

We could only fit in one, but have a second to collect on our next trip..... So Jens will just have to wait on hers! 😉

Trip done, we're on our way home, and we'll be open as usual Saturday 9-5! 😉👍🏻

▶️ SOMETHING SPECIAL ◀️

Snapped up at 6.30am Kempton fair! A stunning pair of 19th century oil on canvas ecclesiastical paintings believed to be Italian School.

Depicting Mary and Child, and Jesus Christ, they're of great proportions and executed with a high level of competency.

These aren't currently available as we'd like to do a little more research and maybe frame ......perhaps they'll make an appearance The Great Antiques Fair 😉👍🏻

▶️ DOWN SOUTH ◀️

After a wonderful overnight stay in Hythe we headed a little further south (any further we'd have been in the sea) to visit Pete ..... Now this is definitely one place where you'll never know what you'll find! Picked up a lovely collection of items, including an antique French shop sign, copper planets and a British Museum display case for exhibiting Bees and Honeycomb.... As I said, never know what you'll find! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Headed up north again for a collection , and after a quick chat with Mike, a couple more bits went on the van.

Now all set for tomorrow mornings visit to Kempton fair...... What will we find next?? 😉😃

I actually do believe it's always sunny here! A call is always fun, you never know what you'll find...... and today Rupert was treated to a 'backstage pass' for Jens videography, seeing first hand the expert at work!,😉😂

... No point in hanging about, we've a van to fill!! Of to Oxford tomorrow morning for just a little more retail therapy! 😉

Well, for anyone who watched Gordon, Gino and Fred, and their culinary tour of Scotland, you may just remember and his precious 'Beaver'...... Well now I have a precious 'Beaver' of my own 🤷🏻‍♂️

So and ..... Having seen Gino's beaver first hand, who has the better Beaver? 🤔

Can honestly say after our visit to this morning, our current trip is off to a brilliant start!

▶️ SEPTEMBER OPENING ◀️

We're all over the place this month....
Quite literally!

First up, a major buying trip covering everywhere from Scotland to the South coast of England including two major fairs.😁

Then we're back for a couple of weeks to get everything ready for The Great Antiques Fair at Larchfield Estate at the end of the month.

The downside, we'll be closed two of the four Saturdays this month.....the upside, another load of fabulous new stock, and an exciting new fair to display it at!🥳🥳
