🍂 A Luxury Day of Wet Felting at Torridon 🍂

Tuesday 20th or Wednesday 21st October 2026 | Alderley Edge

As part of my Needlessly Felted luxury retreat at Torridon in Alderley Edge, I’m opening up our full days of wet felting to a small number of day guests.

Spend the day immersed in colour, wool, silk and creativity in this beautiful luxury private residence, with plenty of time to experiment, learn new techniques and create your own unique felted piece.

Your day includes a delicious lunch prepared by me, all your felting materials, and refreshments throughout the day — plus lots of inspiration and guidance along the way.

Whether you're completely new to wet felting or already love working with fibre, this is a lovely opportunity to spend a whole day creating without the usual distractions.

And because you'll be joining us as part of the residential retreat, you'll get to experience some of that special retreat atmosphere too — gorgeous surroundings, good food, creativity and a lovely group of fellow makers.

🪷Monet, wool & a little bit of magic…🪷

On Saturday at the , we spent the day turning soft, squishy fibres into beautiful wet felted pictures inspired by Monet’s Water Lilies. 🎨🌿

There were dreamy blues, watery greens, floating blooms and plenty of gorgeous layers of colour as everyone created their own interpretation of that unmistakable Monet feeling.

It’s always brilliant watching a pile of wool and silk slowly transform into something completely unique, and yesterday’s pieces were absolutely stunning. 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and got stuck into the felting, and to The Craft Room for being such a lovely place to spend the day.

My workshops are all about experimenting, getting creative and doing something you genuinely love.

I’m so excited to announce that I’m planning my next Needlessly Felted retreat on Anglesey! 🌊🐚

Think three nights of creativity, felting, gorgeous surroundings, good food, good wine, plenty of laughter and time to properly switch off.

Join me at Sam Dale & Son Holmes Chapel on Saturday 3rd October, 11am–3pm and create your very own gorgeous autumnal felted bag using rich seasonal colours, beautiful wool, boucle yarns and a ball resist.

This is such a fun technique and you’ll be amazed at how the flat layers of wool transform into a fully formed, sturdy little bag!
