An evening of festive foliage, creative hands, warming spices and good company. What could be lovelier?

This December, Best Buds is teaming up with Cathy from Crafting Curries to bring you a little festive magic. Combining the natural beauty of seasonal foliage with the comfort and flavour of traditional Indian home cooking.

Two local female entrepreneurs, bringing together our love of creativity, sustainability and creating experiences that bring people together 🤍

🌿 THE WORKSHOP

On arrival, take time to slow down, get hands-on and embrace the beauty of the season. Using a beautiful mix of seasonal foliage, natural textures and festive details, you'll create your choice of a rustic door wreath or a festive table centrepiece to take home.

Think fragrant evergreens, beautiful natural materials and the simple joy of making something with your own hands.

🍤 THE INDIAN FEAST

Once the foliage settles and the candles are lit, it's time to gather around the table.

Warm up with a selection of delicious canapés and a hot drink followed by a 3-course dinner celebrating vibrant Indian flavours, warming spices and the joy of festive dining.

✨ AN EVENING TO LOOK FORWARD TO

A chance to step away from the Christmas to-do list, reconnect with your creativity, celebrate the season and enjoy the company of others. Less rushing, more making, sharing and savouring.

T H E A L T E R

Quite literally a little bit obsessed with this gorgeous alter arrangement 🌱 The brief was wild, lots of height and shape. Whites, greens and hints of chocolate.

The amaranth was the showstopper for me, lusciously lime green and naturally draping, it contrasted so beautifully to the whimsical mossy base.

E M M A 🌸

Creating this bouquet will probably be one of my most important jobs I'll have in this career. A beautiful summer garden bouquet for my best friend's special day.

Emma's step children along with Emma and now husband Dale all picked a colour they wanted to see in the wedding. This was the perfect starting point that inspired the finished look 🌿

Blue Delphiniums, pretty pink Roses, Sweet Peas and Snapdragons, silvery Eucalyptus, vibrant green Alchemilla Mollis and a touch of yellow in the Feverfew. It's the ultimate summer abundance.

And all complete with the beautiful Roselilies from Smith and Munson , Emma's favourite flower was a must 🩷

In just over seven days, we'll be gathering in the Stone Barn for an evening of seasonal flowers, creativity and connection.

Think British-grown blooms, meadow style arranging, a beautifully styled communal table, a glass of w**e, and the chance to slow down for a couple of hours in good company.

Whether you're coming with a friend or treating yourself to a solo evening, you'll leave with your own floral creation and hopefully feeling a little lighter than when you arrived.
