As an Event Manager and owner of

I really enjoy bringing events to life — from the initial idea and planning through to creating posters, social media graphics and promotional content.

Over the years, we’ve been proud to work with fantastic partners including North North Northamptonshire Council West Glebe Pavilion and Corby Pole Fair

From our own Flyby Fest and community events to festivals, street food events and working with local businesses and fitness companies, we’ve created and supported a wide range of events across the area.

There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes, but seeing an idea turn into a successful event that brings people together makes it all worthwhile.

From an idea on paper to a busy event space at the Corby Pole Fair.

It was a real pleasure for Flyby Bars to work alongside as part of the Corby Pole Fair, helping to develop and deliver an area at the bottom of West Glebe.

From the initial planning and ideas, through to building the programme and bringing the space to life on the day, it was a fantastic project to be involved with.

The area featured a flybybars pop-up bar, street food, live entertainment, DJs, bands, spoken word with family activities, circus training , pop-ups and even horses jousting the celebrations.

Most importantly, thousands of people came through the area throughout the event, creating a fantastic atmosphere and showcasing what can be achieved when local organisations, creatives, traders, performers and event teams work together.

For Flyby Bars, it was about much more than providing a bar. It was about helping create an engaging space where people could eat, drink, listen to music, take part in activities and enjoy the Pole Fair experience.

A huge thank you to Made With Many for trusting Flyby Bars to be part of the project, and to everyone who helped make the area such a success — the performers, traders, volunteers, crew and everyone who came along and supported it.

It was a brilliant experience from the initial idea right through to seeing the final event come together.

Proud to have played our part in the Corby Pole Fair.

UK Town of Culture is a new UK-wide competition celebrating the unique stories, culture, creativity and communities of towns across the country and Corby has been shortlisted for the very first title.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about the competition, what happens next and what becoming UK Town of Culture 2028 could mean for Corby.

It’s an opportunity to bring people together, build pride in our town, create new cultural opportunities and put Corby in the national spotlight.

We’ll be using this account to shine a light on the people, places, culture, heritage, businesses, organisations and communities that make Corby what it is!

This is Corby’s story and we want you to be part of it ❤️
