🔨 It's auction day!

We're back at it today from 10am, with a cracking selection of jewellery, gold, silver, antiques, Asian art, militaria and all sorts of weird and wonderful bits going under the hammer!

There's some really lovely stuff in this one, alongside plenty of lots that could turn out to be absolute bargains.

Just a heads-up – the clocks went back last night! We're starting at 10am GMT (UK time), so bear that in mind if you're bidding from overseas.

One thing about auctions... people can get surprisingly competitive 😂

You can have someone who's spent half an hour deciding whether to bid another £5 on something, then suddenly they're in a bidding war with a complete stranger over an old chair.

And the funny thing is, sometimes the things everyone expects to sell for a fortune go relatively cheaply, while something completely unexpected attracts all the attention.

That's what makes auctions interesting. You really never know what's going to happen.

We've got another rather varied sale coming up on Sunday 25th October, with everything from jewellery and antiques to furniture, vintage toys and some unusual bits and pieces.
