A nice little maintenence job today in Goring. This stop valve was still letting through when off. Luckily the water meter in the street had recently been upgraded so was nice and easy to find and turn off. I did advise the customer that a lever valve is a better long term solution but he insisted I replace the washer. Working as it should now and no leaks.

Update on the surgery Job. The sections of ceiling damaged by the historic leak have been made good. The worst section had to be taken down and replaced. Now letting the filler dry ready for a sand, another fill, caulk and paint.

A local Dr's surgery called me in to fix some historical cracking and a change of colour in a couple of the rooms in the building. There was also a historical leak in a ceiling that had damaged it. That ceiling will be done in due course as it needs to come down and be replaced. Here is what I have achieved so far before and after.

Paint used on ceilings Johnstones trade covaplus vinyl Matt.

Paint used on walls Johnstones trade acrylic durable matt.
