Last time it was a mermaids purse lying in the sand, that to me looked like a prancing, fabulous unicorn. This watermark ended up on my desk today while I was working, and I wondered what you can see, because what I saw and what hubby saw were two very different things. 🤣

Don’t let the grey outside get you down! And yes sometimes the fight is harder than others, but I find that a splash of colour to boost your mood can make such a difference.

And today I’ve chosen these gorgeous rock pool earrings from my Festival Collection to brighten my lobes. Not only are they bright, reflective and so light, I genuinely forget I am wearing them, they also take me back to brighter, sun and beach filled days. 😍

Jewellery can serve more than one function and I like to think that my designs bring joy, warm fussy memories and a mood boost when worn.

This is where I go when I need to breathe. 🌊

The same beach I walk along when I need to switch off.
The same sea I come back to again and again.
And the same beach where I find the Cornish sea glass that eventually becomes part of Bean & Bear jewellery. ❤️

I think that’s one of the things I love most about living in Cornwall — there is always somewhere to go when you need a bit of space, a bit of quiet, or just to feel like yourself again.

For me, being by the sea isn’t really an occasional treat. It’s part of how I unwind. It’s where I find inspiration, colours and, quite literally, little pieces of Cornwall to bring home with me.

So I thought I’d let you see a little bit of where Bean & Bear comes from. 🌊

And yes… I absolutely did have a little look for sea glass while I was there. 😂

For the woman who thinks an outfit is never complete without earrings… 👀😜👑

These handmade polymer clay statement earrings are part of my Neon Print collection, made in small batches here in Cornwall.

I wanted this collection to feel like wearing a little burst of sunshine — bold colour, graphic patterns and absolutely no apologising for taking up space.
