For those suffering with Parkinson's, sleep is a big issue. Our bodies have evolved to work around the day and night cycle, setting our circadian rhythm.
Artificial light interferes with that cycle — worse still for someone with an already stressed system. Blue light content at night really does cause a big impact.
This year we are working with .giving.back .light to help create a garden for those who suffer with Parkinson's.

This year we are working with the to help create a garden that works with Bats, not against them. There are two night events at the RHS Chelsea flower show and we have been asked to design the lighting scheme and manufacture lights that have a lower impact on Bats themselves. We will be sharing more ideas and concepts on how that can be achieved in your own garden in future. Remember there is no such thing as Bat safe lighting. But there are ways to mitigate lighting impact.
