Quick reminder that the scrapstore is closed this week, reopening on Monday 7th September for our usual opening hours 😃

After almost 15 years(!) held at £10/year, our membership fee is increasing to £12/year. That's still only £1/month, and can cover up to 4 family, friend or group members 😊 Existing memberships are unaffected, and will continue as they are until renewal👍

In the interest of fairness to all, we have also introduced a large group membership for organisations and larger community groups. This will be £25/year (still only just over the cost of two individual memberships!) with unlimited group members.

We had a great day out today catching up with the fabulous team at Re-Create / Ail-Greu in Cardiff and swapping surplus stock!! 🚚

We have brought back lots of hessian/jute coffee sacks, some with beautiful designs, colourful art cellophane, foam blocks and toddler-sized mannequins!!

We are very lucky to be part of an amazing Scrapstore community, working together to avoid waste, making sure as many people as possible around the UK have access to affordable art and craft supplies 🥰♻️

Apologies for this. The extreme heat is making it impossible to stay open for a full day 🥵

We are closing early this week because of the extreme heat. We are closing at 12.30pm on Tuesday August 11, Wednesday August 12 and Thursday August 13. We are open morning only on Friday August 14 as usual.

We are incredibly lucky to receive so many fabulous quality materials, and without your generosity, wouldn't be able to keep doing what we do 🥰

However, we have a huge backlog! To help us catch up, we won't be able to accept donations in August.

We appreciate your patience, and if you are able to hold on to donations, we will be very excited to accept them in September! 😁
