Well, another two weeks have whizzed by and we're busy preparing for another market this week (Friday 16th Oct, 9-11.30am).

Do join us for lots of autumnal bakes as well as store-cupboard essentials to keep you cosy now the nights are drawing in. We'll have a good selection of chutney, local honey and marmalades to choose from.

If you're trying to get ahead for Christmas, drop by our craft tables and browse the lovely selection from our talented makers - you might even get someone ticked off your list!

With autumn well and truly here, it's now time to have an end of season plant sale, this Friday 18th September in the Lesser Hall (9-11.30am). Some great bargains are to be had from us clearing our greenhouses and gardens ready for the winter. There's still time to plant anything out whilst the soil is still warm though. Come along and browse the bargains!

As well as horticultural bargains, we'll have lots of yummy foods (sweet and savoury) to enjoy and gorgeous crafted items to choose from too.

Our cosy tea room will be open - free homemade cake with every hot drink purchased, and an absolute bargain! See you all there!

We're delighted to have been asked by https://www.facebook.com/cowbridgemusicfestival to provide "goody bags" again this year. These contain some small treats (including a mini preserve) and are presented to performers. Our cooks have been busy behind the scenes getting ready for the start of the Festival today (11th September), and a sneak peek of some of the goodies is here!

A great response to our appeal for more bakers, but anyone interested should still get in touch - the more the merrier!

Back to school and back to normal routine can only mean that it's September, and that also means another market this Friday! We'll have a large selection of baked goods - lots of traditional favourites and a few new lines to keep everyone interested! Apples will be featuring heavily...

We'll also have some more bounty from our gardens, as well as gorgeous late summer flowers - will you be able to resist?
