Last weekend alone we sold:

- x 26 See Next Tuesdays
- x 12 There We Are Then s
- x 1 Co*kwomble (tbf I only made one)
- x 12 F*ck It s
- x 2 Tinsel T*ts
- x 5 Prick s
- x 3 D*ckhead s

Suffice to say, the rude glimmerstones are just as popular as the lightly insightful ones.

I never planned to make any rude ones.

I was asked by a friend to make a few for her and her friends for a rude phrase that they all use that makes them smile - and I thought I’d make a few more and see how they’d go 
.

Two months later, we have a serious ‘Behind The Counter’ thing going on😁

At face to face markets and fairs, I gauge whether it’s worth mentioning the rude ones when people are browsing the tame glimmerstones, and if I think they might be, I say:

“I don’t want to be a bad judge of character, but we do have some rude ones if you’re interested?”

Only twice have I misjudged it so far! đŸ«Ł

So, week in week out, I’m now making approx x100 rude ones and x100 not rude ones, just to keep up!

Custom ones continue too, mainly people ask for dates and places, wedding favours, song and film quotes, but also family or pet names in remembrance which is sweet.

So the REAL question you want to know is:

“How do I actually gauge whether someone might appreciate the rude ones, or not?”

I’m Kathy, and after a major burnout 7 years ago, I gave up my People & Culture career and stepped away from the corporate world. I still do some projects, but very ad hoc.
