This book is for the people who shaped me.
Sweet Traditions is dedicated to the staff who poured their creativity into every bake, my two daughters who are the sweetest part of my story — and my mother, whose adventurous spirit and unwavering belief in me shaped more than she ever realised.
She taught me to be brave. To say yes to opportunity. To chase dreams, even when they felt bigger than the moment. Although she’s no longer with us, her influence runs quietly through every page of this book.
Over the years, the bakery became more than a place of work. It became a space filled with teamwork, laughter and shared pride — where people mattered just as much as the recipes.
Sweet Traditions is a collection of comforting sweet favourites — fudges, brownies, jams and classic treats — inspired by those years and written to be cooked from, shared and enjoyed. It’s a book rooted in gratitude, memory and the people who help shape who we become.
