We’re so excited to launch our Sunflower Growing Competition — the perfect way to get little gardeners growing this summer💚

We’re encouraging children to plant their own sunflower seeds and nurture them to see just how tall they can grow, to be in with the chance to win a bundle of gardening goodies!

How to take part:
🌻Sow your seeds and watch them grow
💧Care for your sunflower all summer long
📏 Measure the final height in centimetres & send us a photo

Parents and guardians then have until the end of August to submit their sunflower height online! Click the link in our bio to submit your entry!

Pop into store to pick up your sunflower seeds and everything you need to get growing💚

Chelsea trends that actually work in an everyday garden!💚

Thinking about refreshing your outdoor space this summer? Here are a few ideas inspired by Chelsea that are easy to bring home:

🌱 Naturalistic planting is being embraced – allowing areas to grow a little more freely and encouraging a softer, more relaxed look.

🐝 Wildlife-friendly gardening is key – simple additions like pollinator-friendly plants, bug hotels and bird baths can make a real difference.

We were absolutely delighted to be invited along to today’s press day — soaking up the inspiration from the spectacular show gardens, exploring the Great Pavilion in search of standout plants, and spotting the latest trends and beautiful planting combinations to bring back to our customers🤩

It was also wonderful to catch up with familiar faces, make new connections, and even enjoy a little bit of celebrity spotting along the way!☀️

Ever wondered how peat-free compost is made?💚

We visited one of our amazing suppliers, in Lincolnshire, to see first‑hand how their peat‑free compost is made.

What began just a few years ago as compost for James’s own farm has grown into something really special – rooted in care for the land and doing things properly, from the ground up🐝

As a family‑run business ourselves, James’s story really resonated. The local approach, the pride in every bag, and the belief that good growing starts with great compost – it’s a way of working we know well🤩
