We've been experimenting in the workshop, and things have been getting a little HOT...🔥

Introducing our new Halloween and Gunpowder barrel collection!

From rustic GUNPOWDER barrels to monstrous glowing faces, we've been giving our reclaimed oak barrels a rather spooky makeover!

🧨 GUNPOWDER BARRELS
Choose plain rustic oak or a varnished finish, with traditional-style painted or vinyl lettering.

💀 CUT-OUT GUNPOWDER LETTERING
For an extra dramatic effect, we can cut the wording through the barrel itself.

🎃 SPOOKY CUT-OUT BARRELS
Choose a monster face, pumpkin, ghost or your very own design, cut directly into the wood.

💡 LIGHT THEM UP!
Cut-out designs are available with or without LED lighting, perfect for creating that eerie glow after dark!

Whether it's for your garden, Halloween party, pub, event or Bonfire Night display, we've got plenty of ways to make your barrel your own, making your garden a little spookier this season! 🍂

Another fully hand-painted barrel, this time in Portsmouth FC's blue, yellow and white colours. 💙💛

Complete with the club crest on the front and the customer also asked us to add a small handy opening at the back for bottle storage, so that's exactly what we did!

We can customise our barrels in all sorts of ways, from colours and designs to practical additions.

Autumn planting season is here 🌷🌿

Our reclaimed wh***ey barrel planters are perfect for adding a bit of colour to the garden now, or getting those spring bulbs planted ready for next year.

We make them in ¼, ½, ¾ and trough styles, with a choice of finishes including plain, sanded, stained, varnished or painted. We can also add custom designs if you're after something a little different.

Our plain half barrel planters (45cm tall) are £35 each which INCLUDES FREE DELIVERY to mainland UK 🚚 (Planter supplied empty — planting shown for inspiration.).
All planters available with or without drainage holes, depending on what you're using them for, for no extra charge.

A slightly different one for us last week 🍀 🍻

We were asked to make a few pieces for the newly opened Nelly Mulligans Irish Public House in Blackpool, including one that gave us a bit of a challenge!

The main barrel needed to fit around an existing pole in the venue, so we made the barrel and tabletop in three removable sections, allowing the whole thing to be fitted around the pole and secured back together once in place.

Alongside that we made two half barrel side tables, with handmade reclaimed timber tops, all finished in the same dark wood style and with hand painted detailing.

Nelly Mulligans officially opened its doors last week and it was lovely to spot one of our barrels sitting on the stage in their launch video afterwards. 😊

These were finished in our dark varnish with custom vinyl branding, but they can just as easily be left plain for a more traditional look.

A great way to get the barrel look without needing the space for a full-size barrel table — ideal for bars, pubs, man caves, gardens or at home.

Barrel furniture sets 🪵

Alongside our barrel tables and tabletops, we also make matching stools from reclaimed barrel staves.

Available in two styles — our standard stool, or with an original barrel ring incorporated as a footrest.

This table and stool set was made for our Betley Big Weekend raffle winner, and we love how well the reclaimed timber works together as a complete set.

Stools can be made to accompany our barrel tables or ordered separately, with larger quantities available for pubs, bars and venues.

Another big delivery out the door! 🚚

This set of 10 custom tabletop barrels has been made for the brand-new Molly Malone's in Swansea, opening very soon. 🍻

Each barrel has been finished in our dark wood varnished style, fitted with an oversized reclaimed timber tabletop and branded with their logo — ready for their new venue.

We also made them a matching branded barrel lid as a little thank-you from us for their order. ❤️

A massive thank you to Molly Malone's Swansea for choosing Bank Top Barrels, and wishing the whole team lots of luck with the opening! 🍻
