Christmas decoration preparation at the station. A bitterly cold day but WE HAVE LIGHT! Working in the Pumphouse is almost a joy now the newly restored window platform side gives us light. Thanks to all the people at Network Rail, South Western Railway, Railway Heritage Trust, Avon construction and our leaseholder from East Hants CRP who helped achieve this momentous work. Next Thursday the volunteers will be putting up the decorations in the waiting room. Come and have a look any morning except Sunday when it is open. Better still take a train ride with one of the special offers from November 29th to December 17th.
